Description
Produced of bulk texturized fiberglass yarns, traps greater amounts of air and demonstrates better insulation properties and greater fullness. Some warp yarns dyed with certain pigment to give outstanding color mark.
Property:
► An alternative to asbestos based textiles
► Available in plain and drop wrap (ladder tape or bolt hole tape)
► Available with a PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) to facilitate easy installation
► Used at 1000°F / 537°C continuous, If exposed to high temperature 600°F (315°C) to 1000°F (537°C) for an extended period of time the fabric may become stiff and brittle.
Applications:
Thermal insulation and heat protection pipes, flexible tubes, electrical cables, sealing joints of ovens and boiler doors, stoves, fireplaces and expansion joints.
